The magestic Rocky Mountains are known of throughout many parts of the world.  Nestled in the midst of their jagged peaks are quaint little towns like Nelson and Kimberly as well historic ghost towns that echo British Columbia's past.  The Rocky Mountains offer unlimited activities -- everything from swimming, boating, hiking, to wild-life watching, guided helicopter excursions and river rafting.  You'll be sure to have fantastic and enjoyable time in the Rockies!

The YELLOW route on the map indicates a possible detour.  For those who would like to spend a little more time in the Okanagan Valley, follow along Highway #97 north from Penticton.  Along the way, you will pass by towns like Summerland, Peachland, Kelowna and Vernon.  The Valley offers a variety of water sports as well as visiting a winery.
